Why is this important?

Blue, underlined text: The Hyperlink   Not much to look at... But, it changed the world.
In this module you'll learn how to include hyperlinks on your web pages. You'll also discover the trick to opening pages in new windows or the same window as well as how to use anchors to jump to specific spots on a page.

These are the html pages that will contain the anchors and links:

Please note: Often people skip this lab. Later, they are perplexed because they don't know how to link to anchors (especially when they see that this is worth a lot of points on the capstone project....). Be smart and do the work... learn how to use anchors. They are an essential part of every web page.

Use CSS to make menus using unordered lists of hyperlinks.

CSS has become just as important as XHTML itself. If you aren't learning all the ins and outs of CSS you really won't know how to produce visually effective web pages. CSS is one of the key interview questions that employers are asking.
