Domain Names can have different endings
Domains have different endings such as:
- .com - commercial site
- .net - a network provider
- .org - a non-profit organization
- .edu - an education based organization
Other countries use their country code as the last part of the domain name:
Once you find a name that is available purchase it right away. It is also recommended that you purchase names that are commonly misspelled as well as different endings (.com, .org )
A domain name should be as short as possible and very easy to spell.
http://prairielakes.net was an early ISP in Mankato. People had a difficult time spelling prairie correctly.
